Poor horses. I remember when I was near Nogales Arizona and I was sitting at a truck stop I seen this horse walking towards the interstate and I was the only one bold enough to walk up to the horse but I grabbed the harness he had on and walked him back to the truck stop and I bought some rope and tied him up and I sat with him and fed him some apples and carrots a couple of hours until his owner came looking for him. I just didn't want him to get hurt or hurt anybody on the interstate by walking on it. I was talking to the horse and telling him if he was the size of a dog I would put in my truck. I probably looked like a nut walking and talking to that horse.
Ridgerunner665 and 18Wheels&DozenRoses Thank this. -
I grabbed a horse walking near I20 near of the SNI yard once, beautiful paint horse, just loose no halter or nothing, I had a spare halter coincidently but no lead line so I used the dog lease lol. The police took him (I called them) till AC could round up a horse trailer, I told them I'd adopt him lol. But they have to hold it 3 days first, and owner claimed him poo
18Wheels&DozenRoses Thanks this. -
I would have been like you guys and at least tried to catch them. I have always loved horses even more than I do dogs but unfortantly I do not have room to keep horses anymore.

Yeah it just so happened I had gotten a box of tack that day I bought on ebay. Including a brand new halter. I don't have a horse yet... lol.
But I do have a trailer, 3 complete tack outfits, and all the other supplies...
Just still havent found my horse. I'm being awful picky right now. I want a black and white paint, and I want it to me more white then black, 15+ HH, under 10 years old and at least green broke. And under 1000.00. Oh and a gelding.
Apparently thats a needle in a hay stack =/ But I'll be at the auction on my birthday with some spare $ to see if he shows up! -
Good luck and I hope you find him.

Be careful of auction horses.
Often they're sold at auction because there's something wrong with them.

I know, but I refuse to pay 1200 dollars for a horse thats most likely been drugged ANYWAY. At least at the auction I can pay 200 dollars for the same drugged horse.
