Another easy day. Took two 55’ beams to Everett Ma. Then reloaded some 67’ beams and dropped them in Taunton on the way back

 

Is Paragon the place the makes you buy those stupid foot tall pipe stakes that are useless?

 

That's the place. They've been laying around in my scrap pile waiting to be of use for something for 4 years now. I mean they fit in a pocket ok, so I figured if I made log bunks or something they'd make good locating tabs.

 

Been a long time, but I remember that place.
Had a go at that place years ago. Had my own stakes, 6 of them. They said no, you have to use the ones we have. Told them, nope got mine here. Said they wouldn’t load the trailer. I said fine, see ya, and left. Never been back

 

Local delivery today. I deserve an easy day

I show up at the job site per dispatch 5:45 am for 7 am delivery, contractor drives up at 6 and says your early, supposed to be here at 12pm . Will try to schedule you in when we get a chance. So I called dispatch and he says sorry, I forgot to tell you they move the time. Me; Ok, I’m making money with standby at your expense.

 

Only about 6000 lbs on the wagon but it was 3 stops in Connecticut. 2 in Danbury, 1 over by Wallingford
