I just looked up Lodi, Oh. TA and it has become an IHOP. At least it is still a sit down restaurant.

If I'm not mistaken he died a few years ago

I remember Transport City well, parking lot was always full but it was a great one. Remember them all, Mae&Joes, Tomahawk, Baseball City, Jarrells.........those truly were the days.

 

I woke up one morning at the Gear Jammer about to freeze to death, truck was on high idle and still could not stay warm(-20degrees). Went into the restaurant and ordered coffee just shivering, waitress chuckled "you're not from round here are ya hunny". First trip that far out west(pickup potatoes in Sugar City).
