Mudflap, box, wheels, air & electrical all came out unscathed..

The front axle had 18ply Cooper Roadmaster RM170's..

It was pretty crazy. Trailer bucked upward, & a loud pop as the inside let go, & rubber chunks started fly'n. Was already in the slow lane & started easing toward the shoulder. Exit ramp was about a quarter mile up so was hoping to coast in. About halfway there the outer gave up as well, but without the spectacular bang. Luckily the tread didn't disintegrate like the inside, & cushioned the wheel saving the outer edge..


The passenger side weren't far off from giving up the ghost either. Could slide your finger under the center rib of this one that was still "good"..



Can't be too choose'y at the mercy of road service for 17.5 tires, so had em bring me the only 4 china bombs available. Advanta brand.. Hats off to em, up & roll'n south in less than 2hrs for $1038.90 +$25 for the kid

 

Been pickin up LTL loads the last several days. Lot's more involved, kinda like fishin with 5 or 6 rods. Ended up in areas this week that I have no contacts and don't normally run.

Long as it's stackin bucks it'll work. Be headed back to WA tomorrow with a menagerie of junk. Got a skid steer and a cylinder to finish off the day.
