Advice on Prepass fake toll charge

If you have E-Log. You can print off where truck was that day to prove it wasn't you. Upto 6 months ago.

 

Yes. New York charged me for crossing the GWB on a day I wasn't even in New York. BestPass pursued if for me and NY took the charge off.

 

I'm confused. What does being female have to do with NY tollway messing up yet again?

 

If you can print out where the truck was that day and send them in they will remove the charge.

Ny has sent me more invalid charges than I can actually keep track of and not just for the truck. For some reason they think I own a mustang and like to tool in and out Of NY on my off time! It’s hard enough to get me to go into NY when I’m getting paid for it but I wouldn’t be caught dead going there with my personal car or truck!

 

You too huh? I get a bill from them every month or two. They seem convinced that i own a #### cube....im constantly needing to fight them off.

 

I don’t have an ez pass on any personal vehicles and the return envelope to send payment or dispute now seems to keep getting returned as undeliverable. The last one was returned 2 times so I called before the so called timeframe for dispute ran out. The girl that took my call seemed to be able to fix the matter but it’s only been 2 months so I’m not sure there was a few months I didn’t get one before so I won’t consider it resolved until at least 6 months pass. Sometimes I wonder if they do it on purpose in hopes you’ll just pay it without a fight!

Lol yea those cubes are only good for BECOMEING cubes if you catch my meaning. As towards the disputes my ram doesnt have a prepass and has never been east of sioux falls. And ive not lived east of sioux falls either. Hell ive only been to NY a half dozen times in my life and all paid trips in a company vehicle. Ive tried the whole dispute thing and they INSIST its me and its been a revolveing door of B.S for going on 3 years now. Makes me want to pull my hair out. I even changed my plate on my semi AMD truck out of desperation.

 

I wonder if there is a way you can sue them? Mail fraud? Harrasment? Attempted robbery?

 

Likely yes. But its one of those it would cost more then id make or save issues. Best thing to do is just submit dispute after dispute.
