Hmmm....are they Swifty proof?
-
that's just dumb...
although I did see fairings that cover the drive wheels in an article on aerodynamics...
So, those might be coming out in a few years. -
Looking at those rigs, one can't help to think of the future as depicted in Sleeper....

Wheels covered up with aerodynamic fairings might lead to overheating brakes while under heavy use, such as, during long down grades, or, even in heavy stop light to stop light traffic conditions.
-
they weren't completely covered, lemme see if I can find a picture.
-
No thanks, that day that comes = no more

The one on the right looks like an INSECT. wtf?
and if fairings on drive wheels were a good idea, why did the honda civic hybrid drop them? Don't we all remember when hybrids were UGLY? i remember pointing at them and saying HEY THATS A HYBRID just because of the fairings.
now the honda civic hybrid looks like a honda civic.
if it saved enough gas to make it worthwhile, why are they gone? I mean, they got rid of them because they were ugly. But so? Lots of ugly cars have existed. Almost everything AMC made for example. -

Hmmm, I started out in a single axle cab over, and yer saying that's what the future holds? Looks like a step in the wrong direction.
