It’s not that big of deal. You’re worrying about nothing.

I've only had one company look at my psp.

But. It's rare for me to work for companies that use psp.

Okay, let's not get on each other, we've all been here a long time, and Buddys views are not so far off. I think part of Buddys frustration is, while this is an informational site, the people asking the questions seems to be deteriorating. Now, it's obvious, this person is not from around here, and that's fine, but if you are going to drive a vehicle that has the potential to kill or injure someone, warnings or violations such as these, should not be taken lightly, and aren't. Maybe in Bolivia, or where ever, but this is the good old USA, and I'm sorry, I wouldn't hire this person. Not that the "crimes" are that severe, it just tells a story of future mishaps coming, this person may not be aware of, but honestly, companies deal with this all the time. We live in a non-consequential world today, meaning, apparently, folks can screw up, and still want to get along as if nothing happened. Unacceptable in my, and I'm sure, Buddys time. Buddy, like me, are old school, we had to think for ourselves, and no TTR to run to with seemingly silly, to us, questions. We were proud doing what we did, and made it our utmost priority to NOT have violations( stupid weight aside). I'm just not sure people from other countries feel that same way today.

Maybe if this forum is so frustrating for all the retired guys that they can’t even answer a simple question from a new driver it would serve them better to stay away and not subject themselves to the aggravation of having to read the questions and type out a snarky reply. Or simply read a post and don’t feel the need to reply to every single one if what is offered won’t be constructive.

Looking back on my OTR career; I certainly checked every trailer I ever picked up for lights and tires, and any OBVIOUS structural issues, but I never checked for the registration paperwork. And, as far as a leavy tire is concerned, that could've happened on the road. And there were a couple of times when I pulled an empty which had in inner flat several miles to get it to a place where I could get the tire fixed, rather call for a tire truck at a much hire rate.

we have the right to speak our minds and thoughts.

    good, bad or ugly..

as long as we hold insults and name calling to ourselves, we can speak up on just about anything.

    so in the end..??

we have every bit as right to be here as someone like YOU..!!!!!

Post #3, he took ownership of his mistake. Makes ALL the difference in the world in responding to a post.

    If he had said
    -I wasn’t trained properly
    -I was taught XYZ
no one would have said anything to you. And the great thing about it is that was his first response. No passing the buck or blaming anyone else. When a poster takes ownership of a mistake, don’t continue to browbeat him. He’s trying to understand. Break things down into cornbread language. That shows mastery of the craft on your end.
