Well are they out of Chicago? What type of cars do they drive,? The deductions are for the Mercedes and the mistress.

If it was me I would switch companies. I’d rather owe a trucking company some money than lose my house. That said if you owe money for repairs and have a truck payment it’s going to be very hard to dig yourself out of the hole. You are one minor breakdown away from bankruptcy.

Whow, it sounds like a company I'm currently leaving. Unfortunately, the Biggest mistake sounds like there is 'Not' a significant reserve even before starting as a Owner Operator on your end. The sky is the limit for what amount is needed but I'd say at least close to the amount of your truck or more. The more reverses the better. For me they're trying to starve me out and I just waiting for a new carrier to lease onto. I've learned to play this game well by budgeting money before at other jobs by not spending on non-neccessities.

I keep hearing about to much Owner Operators borrowing from the carrier they're lease to and it boggles my mind why? What's wrong with their credit scores and why did they just borrow from a bank? Never wait until you're in a desperate almost bankrupt situation to act. Never leave any avenue unturned regarding substantial income.

No Carrier should take be able to take any Owner Op hostage in a desperate financial state. It's up to the Owner Operators responsibility to be sure of a way out if things go south. In this current trucking industry we didn't hit rock bottom yet and a lot more companies big and small will fall down because of weak finances & bad financial decisions. Understand your fractions when budgeting your money and keep that 1/3rd for truck repairs and essentials no matter what. It's a Doggy dog business and nobody cares about a single owner operator and believe we're disposable so beware that a pay settlement this week could be totally different from the next so always believe it's your last. Don't become a sucker.

I’d hate to say it, but you are long done. If you can’t afford the big expenses right now, you definitely couldn’t afford the repair on your truck which means you were already out of business. You didn’t know when to quit now you may lose everything, as you keep suck assets dry in order to pay to work, stop the nonsense and close shop already.

So you don’t have a contract?

    then you are an employee?

    If no contract, walk away.

let them chase you for the money, it will at least take a month save up the amount and if you go to court, tell the court how much you have sailed for the debt.

I did a motor my first year, it definitely didn’t tickle, but it was paid for when completed…..

Op still won’t answer the same questions I have asked by others, so I guess #### that guy is the answer he is looking to hear?
