FWIW, you DID try using a hammer, even though it wasn't anywhere near freezing....hope not dumb twucker and Last Call Thank this.

Have you read the thread? It wasn't frozen as in cold frozen. They were stuck.

The only time I've had stuck brakes. And I've had a few.
The brakes were cammed over. Meaning at the top of the cam lobe.
If you adjust them you can get past the lobe and be at the beginning of the adjustment. If you can get the adjuster to move.
Course. The brakes will sitting an inch away from the drum but you won't be locked up. -
