You must be a non smoker! Harder to get a mentor. I got lucky.

BTW I am in LA again. Waiting on a load at Shaw Carpets! (I'll be a real rug trucker now!)
We broke out the Colman stove and made lunch. We can't drive to a truckstop, too far! I made brown rice, dumped in a can of Campbells chicken and rice soup, and a can of white chicken meat.
Time for a nap, we don't load 'til 2200 it may happen earlier. Two stops, San Antonio, then Houston.
BTW I got free ice at the fuel island at Swift in Phoenix! -
yeah i dont smoke but i dont care my other have smokes so it does not bother me at all
-
After taking a leave of absence, I am also waiting for a mentor.

Everthing OK RD? Crappy trainer? I was wanting to read about you getting your own truck before me.
Gearrat did you mark "no preference?" I know there is a shortage of mentors right now. -
Had a really good trainer. I didn't care for the Wal mart dedicated fleet that we were on because I wanted OTR, But he was good. I ended up with pneumonia and had to take a leave. Now, I look forward to your posts about getting your truck!
