I dig it. I'm not into looks as I much as I'm into it for money savings.
The trailer is reminsent of the side skirts except fancier.. the only problem I see is that it will need massive fans to cool the radiator and brakes while stop and go (like some else mentioned)
It appears to be a high Cab Over Feature.. When can I test drive one.![]()

but doesi t have to look like an insect?
the trailer side skirts on the road today do not cover the wheels. -
I'm not sure the fairings would work. When you have a tire blow on you, it will blow that plastic right out. Not only will it be very costly to replace the paneling afterward, but you're creating a dangerous situation for those on the side/behind you.

It looks fine for European design, just a bit to radical for the united states. Find a national carrier that will run 500 of these units and prove there is a better truck and it will happen. But until then I will stick with our beautiful outlines of the American truck!

I dunno, fleet trucks are pretty darn ugly already. Just look at the freightliner cascadia!
BUT ATLEAST IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE AN INSECT.
honestly, these look like the kind of future vehicles that were portrayed as the future back in the 80s. Kind of like the DeLorean, and The Jetsons, lol.
