Seeing you all agree to enter the scales then it is likely that dot would see it the same way, I was lucky again that time.

I've never been pulled over and I always bypass if the sign says bypass. If it's a weigh in motion they know I'm light, why go in? My prepass just says "pull in unless closed" for places that it doesn't receive a signal, that's a default. But if the sign says to bypass, I bypass. I've got the camera if they try to pull me over saying I should have pulled in. No judge will uphold a ticket when a 9 foot wide sign thats 2 feet high says TRUCK OK TO BYPASS WEIGH STATION.

I bypass if EITHER my Drivewyze says to bypass OR the sign says to. I can turn my drivewyze on and off as I wish in my tablet.

The system I have says “bypass not granted. Pull in unless site is closed”.

If a sign lights up and says “bypass” like the OP mentioned, to me that means closed.

That one in North Carolina alternates "bypass" and "pull in" messages. When it is open, some trucks get a bypass and some trucks get a pull in.

    Good place to sleep.

That one south of Denver I woke up surrounded by tiny cones because I slept on the get back on the interstate ramp.

Stacked them back up dropped them off by the scale door and sneakily scurried away before they saw me.

Never make eye contact. Eyes remain on the signal board at all times.
