    Mikely,
I enjoy your posts. It seems that you have been following me and have the same take on events. I had the 43 cases in Detroit. Was there from 1430 to the following am at 0630. At least they had the decency to not charge me a lumper fee for the 3 pallets. Only other good thing was the yard was secure for the 10 hours.

    mikley28 Thanks this.

I like your posts also. it appears we have the same fate everywhere. US Cold storage didnt charge a lumper fee. I am trying to get some detention for my stop.

Hey there ChromeDome, like you, have been against my 70 for a week now. Slowly getting my time back tho. Will get a bunch back today. Was on my merry way to Mass when I got that dreaded swap msg. Had to turn around and backtrack @150 to pick up a load that was already late but.....anyway, got the load and now here I sit in lovely New Stanton, Pa until tomoorw morning. Wouldn't take me today. Oh well.

We would have passed in the night if you had not had to swap.
I am at the TA in Milesburg, exit 78 on I-80 now.
I could have gone another hour but really saw no reason too.
Swapped loads with another driver this morning. The one I had was headed to IL, got one for Columbus OH.
This way I can get the load out tomarrow night for Buffalo, and a monday morning delivery.
I will probibly head out of here around 3am. That way I can drop this at Wally world, get my 10, and pick up at early end of window.
Should be home by 0500 Saturday.
Good miles this past 2 weeks though. Freight is smoking.

Why yes it would. 2nd time I've been to this one and think I was almost late last time.

Anyone ever delievered to the CE Kelly commissary b4 in Oakdale, PA? OMG!!! R U ever in 4 a treat if you do so. Be careful going around the curves and if it says 25, do about 10 JIC somebodies coming from the other direction. You will both NOT make it at the same time. That last turn you make is like going into a residential area and wasn't sure I was doing the right thing. Luckily somebody got me on the CB and asked where I was going and confirmed that was right. Talk about sweating bullets tho.

Your right Chrome, smoking for me also. Course I got slowed down with this load and the 4 dropper I had b4. Still ought to end up with over 11,000 for # 31/2 weeks out.

Well, when I get home Saturday morning it will be 12 days out.
I will have right around...let me check... 5300 miles.
Now that is really not many miles for 2 weeks in a full OTR company, but remember, I run short to med hauls, and all in this time frame were loads less than 700 miles.
Plus one day I was at the shop. My fleets average has only been at around 2200 miles a week, with most weekends home for a while.
This is starting to change with only 2 weekends home a month for now, for some of us. Many others are still home every weekend.
My regional fleet is short by around 40 drivers right now though. So it should even out at around 2400 miles a week and home most weekends again once they get some more.

    mikley28 Thanks this.
