Carriers sorted by APU / No APU

Yeah I believe they do hire outta there. The run west coast very very rarely east. Covington ky is far east As u go. Southaven we delv to alot and pineville la is a big one too

 

I think this is going to become an important thread. Eco nuts are putting pressure on everyone including trucking companies to reduce emmisions and drivers will over time vote with their feet so I would say APUs will become the norm.

The Prime trk parked next to me has an APU. Don't know bout the whole company tho.

buel inc does, but i wouldn't drive for them.

 

Prime does APUs on all company trucks - some of the lightweight ones don't have them installed yet because the decision on which unit to use on them was pending until the beginning of this month.

Larger full-condo units that are leased may or may not have them depending on whether the lease operator opted to pay for it.
