    I have a 2014 carrier x4 7500 that the alternator won’t charge unless I excited it manually.
Changed alternator twice, and does the same thing. any ideas why it won’t start charging on its own.
    Thank and await any reply’s

You kind of answered you own question.
It is not getting juice to get it to charge so I would start tracing the wire back to see where it might be broken or why it is not getting power.
You could even run a new wire for a temporary fix to get you by until you can get somewhere to fix it right.
