I may never get out of this door, even when they do get me unloaded. They put me in a door that has a big ole hole in front of it with drains. Had a plate over part of the hole, but of course not where I backed over. Now their working on the hole and if they put a truck in next to me......game over.

So I am leaving for School in Utah in the morning. Does anyone have any good advice? Also can anyone tell me what the first week of school is going to be like? Also does anyone know how big the class sizes are? Any advice about this school would be great.

:yes2557:So true Dark Majesty, so true.

I can't speak to Central's program or what to expect as I have not been through their program. It is still on my list of possible companies. But in general just go into it as you should with all things. Keep a positive attitude and know that there is going to be good and bad with ANY company. Central and all the other "starter" companies are just that. They are a means to an end.

When ever starting a new career you have to earn your stripes. Learn as much as you can from those that have gone before you and those that are willing to take the time to teach you. Make a commitment to yourself to stick it out and get the experience needed that you may further your new career. Good luck to you.

Thanks. I plan on going in with a positive attitude and coming out with a positive attitude. I kind of have a feeling everything is going to just work out fine.....

According to recent conversations with a Central recruiter, Central currently has no wait to upgrade you to solo after training and has plenty of freight running, so miles shouldn't be a problem. Wanted to get some "real" information as I start to narrow down this list over the weekend and make my decision the first part of the week.
