I can give you some advice on K&B. They have really nice equipment, they haul mainly meat loads, got a huge account with tyson. They ran me totally overnight and will tell you that during orientation. They tell you 2500 miles guranteed whether you drive them or not, the catch is you must be available for dispatch for the full pay period to get that gurantee. Basically if its a hometime week you don't get that. They also say if you damage their equipment, you, the driver will pay to fix it and they will keep if off your dac. Sounds shady to me but whatever. They will hire pretty much anybody I believe.
Basically it comes down to this, if you don't mind driving overnight constantly, aren't bothered by dispatchers that are straight out of college, and don't mind hauling swinging meat occasionally than they might work out for you. Hope that helps.Baack Thanks this. -
do they let kids 10 and over ride

I don't know about the rider program I'm afraid

My advice, if you have options other than K&B I would look else where. I'm sure there is a reason a carrier with one terminal in the Nebraska/Iowa area has had ads in dallas papers for years.

how about there equipment what speed are there trucks and what are they govern at do they hire in tennessee

You can run a search on K&B. Also check their entries on the BAD trucking company section. Makes for very interesting (and scary) reading.

Freightliner classic xl. Straight 10s I think. Governed at 65

If you value your driving carrier set away from K&B.
