There is a fairly new video on FCCs YouTube channel that IMO is very well done, and does a good job highlighting FCC.

For some reason I've heard somewhere before that Mack's tend to be a rougher riding trucks, but maybe I just heard wrong.

All the Mack's I've seen on the road sure have small sleepers. They look cramped.

From what I was told, five of those Mack’s are spoken for by people who volunteered to move into a one. Some people have an affinity of looking at bulldogs butt all day long.

Mack Anthems are uncomfortable with the double bunk, especially for guys as tall as @cdavis188. They raised the bottom bunk up to put some sort of tray storage under there, but didn't raise the top bunk to accommodate.(and unless they changed, the top bunk mattress is built into the top bunk, so it has to be completely removed to change...and didn't have any type of frame sticking up to keep anything stored up there from coming off.) Even guys my height (5'9") would crack the back of their heads on the top bunk when trying to sit upright on the bottom bunk. As far as the ride, Macks have always had as good a ride as any fleet truck. Maybe not as good as an International, but nowhere as bad as a Freightshaker. The collision annoyance system is a PITA because it uses the trucks stereo for speakers, and it blanks out the sound in the front speakers to annoy you.

As far as the comfort and storage, it seemed to me, the ones the company I worked for had, they were more geared for a regional driver instead of an OTR.

The MP8 engine and mDrive weren't bad, especially if they keep the manual and performance modes activated. It didn't pull like a Cummins, but it was head and shoulders above the MX13 in a PACCAR.

These are the reasons I like FCC, even though I don’t work there. One of these days, if I get a hankering to have to stay out 3 weeks (due to where I live), maybe I’ll slide on over. I’ll steer a driver to FCC before ANY other company. No BS.

I would like to meet the engineer who designed that transmission. Blocking the only entrance to a shipper for 10 minutes with others behind me because it decides to calibrate something is not okay.
