Ran into one of my fellow drivers today. On his 2nd solo trip. This guy did not know his ...hole from his elbow!!! Not even the simple things like how to turn off his reefer. Don't blame him....but his trainer needs both his arms broken!!!
GOOD GOD PEOPLE, IF YOUR GOING TO BE A TRAINER, THEN DO YOUR STINKING JOB!!!!!
I know I'm ranting but dang. I spent an hour and a half with him today trying to help him out. Hadn't even learned the simple stuff like how to scale, having problems with his logs, didn't know that odd # forms requried 15 minutes on line 4, etc.......
If this company ever decides to go to the T 2000 for trainers, I'm so there. 660 tho is just to dang small!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and letting me rant. Needed to get it out. -
Glad you feel better

According to this used car salesman, these tires aren't actually bald, nope, they're racing slicks. He also said the God awful noise isn't a rusted exhaust system, no Sir, that's the high flow, racing exhaust package. Normally he'd have to charge extra for these features, but since he likes me, he'll let me have this fine automobile for only 6 times it's actual street value.
Not trying to be an arse, but nothing a recruiter says (be it this company, another trucking company, any other industry or even the military) should ever be considered "real" information.bigrigtruckdriver Thanks this. -
There are good trainers and bad ones. I feel sorry for the guy. Good thing you found him, before he had a problem. I ran into a central driver once that was in our Bollingbrooke, IL drop yard. He was sitting in his truck crying. He had just upgraded and his trainer never taught him to back. Oh he had his required backs in for upgrading, he had him do straight line backs in empty parking lots. I spent a few hours with him helping him back. But he was so frusterated he was going to leave the truck there and quit. His trainer also told him once he was off his truck, not to call him. So I gave him my number, and he called me with questions.mikley28 Thanks this.

lol miles are not a problem?! miles are a real problem!!! they can not even give their L/O decent miles!!! When I ask it is always some excuses, one excuse after another, bad area, wrong area, shipping is down. But try giving them excuses for anything you do.
