Sorry to read about your situation. It pays BIG to do some homework before you sign on with questionable carriers. That includes speaking to people who actually work/worked there and not relie only on this forum.

You seem to be a veteran in this business and obviously deserve better. At least sue these people in small claims court for the money owed to you or somehow these people will continue to subject pain on others.

 

I have seen those truck near Gary IN fueling at the Pilot. POC Freightliners, Piece of Crap.

 

i think i would run away from a company named big daddy express but i really cant say much i went with some like them myself i guess we have to learn the hard way

 

Brandy i so know what you are talking about here. I dont believe that big daddy is a real company. Everything you posted is what i went through from may thru oct of last year. bobby is a horrible person. i havent even recieved my tax forms form him, never got a pay stub, ever. the trucks are not safe, period. sounds to me like you had same truck i had. always blaming the driver for blown tires, breakdowns etc. i am wondering if there are even any records, tax or otherwise that i worked there. i had lack of recent experience and took what i could get to get time under my belt. big mistake. this company should be turned in to federal. i should have done it when i stepped out of the truck.

 

You folks crack me up complaining about unsafe equipment. Its your god giving legal right to shut down unsafe equipment and he cant do anything about it. And if he runs that unsafe equipment he will be fined to heck and back. Its not the owner who is at fault here on the equipment its the driver.

 

if you don't like the equipment, just pull in the first scale and tell the helpful gents inside you would like a free dot inspection. doesn't cost anything and they will usually work you right in. no appointment necessary. do that a couple of times and these dumb@#$ owners will get the message.

 

Will never understand how drivers can let a company bully them around like they do.
