If it is someone who is just trying to drive engagement with the site, I wonder why he has initiated and carried on extensive conversations about these trucking questions on private messaging with several members here over the years. How do these conversations on private messaging drive engagement with the website?

What if there is more than one in there? Or if they radio to the chase car just past the scale?

If you have Etrack in the trailer, go get some, $100 each, get four and put 2 into the trailer in the front before you back into the dock so they act as a stop, tell the dock people that they are there and you won’t have an issue.

The company policy is if the driver can’t secure the load, it doesn’t get moved in the truck, we have had very little issues with docks and access.

Depending on the rolls, they can weight over 6500lbs each. I used to haul them for 2 different companies. The big 8 foot tall ones are about 6600 each. I could carry 6 at most.

I'm not reading all of this one, but the most pertinent unasked question is related to the extremely slow truck in the hammer lane... The thought that something cringe worthy was about to happen never crossed the OP's mind? I imagine for most of the more experienced of y'all, the alarm bells would have been deafening!
