Just called down and got it straight from the horses mouth, apparently it's not the friction plates wearing which I was told, one of the springs broke, and eventually if I left it the clutch wouldn't disengage. Guess it's a common problem on Cascadia transmissions, he said those springs are known for breaking

Nope, manual. And I never use the dam clutch, that's the frustrating part. I guess just bouncing around going down the road causes these springs to failSpeed_Drums, IH9300SBA, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.

As expensive as it is to just replace the clutch, replacing one when the transmission is already out is well worth the investment, especially if your intentions are to keep the truck for a long timeSpeed_Drums, IH9300SBA, cdavis188 and 4 others Thank this.
