I mean ... this is about the only for people to learn. The Truckers Report is a great resource. It's only too bad that people don't learn about this resource before they make an ill-advised move. I'm surprised that some private CDL schools don't push this as a resource. Maybe they don't know it exists either, and if you're unaware of TTR, then you'll most likely learn the hard way.

Then you have folks that start a profile, and you can point them in the right direction, and advise them, but folk love to get thar ego stroked and patted. They always flow to what sounds good as opposed to what's reality, and those 1099 companies will promise the world even moreso than the reputable companies.

 

They sound like the Kind who would do that.
