If you have have a solid resume you can get a top tier job in this industry. Stick it out somewhere for 3-5 years and you're already head and shoulders better than probably a 100 other applicants on that very same job offer. If you job hop you're going to get passed over on those top tier jobs. Freight companies are freight companies and if that'swhere you want to be that's fine. There's a few rare ones that good but 98-99% of them are same ol BS with a different name on the door. Job hopping isn't going to matter with those jobs.

Thing about what sucks about the Bluebird.... if its, your just a number, driver manager not giving you miles, too many miles or other issues that come with being new.
Most places, your first month or so is a honeymoon or your put in the backyard in case you chew on stuff and pee on the carpet.... that usually changes. I usually have given a job 90 days to see how it evolves. If at that time it still smells like a duck, then try to do better than you last ducking job. Communicate with people see and learn howyou and them can run as a team

I drove for Marten for a year. They haul temperature controlled freight and that is a niche of the industry that kinda sucks. So it may just be that you hate grocery warehouses and switching to another company that does the same thing won’t help.

In the meantime, don’t quit before you find something new. Also, did they give (sell) you a tire gauge during orientation? Be sure to use it daily. Never and I mean never drive in to a terminal with a low tire. Anything below 70 PSI and they will probably send you packing. If you check your tires daily you should be ok, but I always stopped an hour or so away to check them all again and if one is low, then call it in before moving or air it up if you carry an air hose with you.

It seems to me., and you guys hop in here please, that if you discover instantly it's a bad fit, better to jump quick than to drag it out. Hiring authority can understand you made a bad choice and learned it right away, rather than just being a disgruntled baby brat.

Job hopping really isn't a good look. I like the advice in a previous post. I'd look to other opportunities at Marten. They're large enough to offer alternatives besides traditional OTR trucking.

Stay put until you decide what is your forever job. Some companies reject applicants with more than 3 jobs in 5 years.

My particular company loved the five years I had been with jbhunt even though I had been fired from them just one day earlier and the new company turned out to be one of them premium $100k+ a year jobs. Getting fired that day turned out to be the best thing to happen to me in my life but it never would have happened if I had been bouncing from truck to truck.
