I have a 2013 Kenworth T800 that has a pretty violent shake from the rear axles when turning sharp left and right. Tech here thought it could be a traction control issue so we disconnected the air lines to both rear axle lockers and verified with the wheels off the ground that both side of the axles turn independently of each other. But that had no change.
I'm thinking the hubs should be checked on the rear axles because the drums have a ridge on the outside and maybe when turning tightly the brakes are grabbing.
It doesnt do it when turning very slowly only when you get about about 5mph and have the steering wheel turned to the lock.
Does anyone have some insight that could help me??

Had that with a Vette I bought. Had the wrong fluid in the rear end. Was real smooth after I changed it. Yeah, a Vette isn't a truck but maybe it's a similar fix. That's all I got for you.

Short wheel base truck? Fifth wheel plate set forward or rear of tandem centerline? That can cause binding and scrubbing of one axle more then the other in hard turns. Also sometimes the bolster plate on the trailer itself can have some dried cruddy grease or rough spots in surface that will cause popping sounds while turning.
Since you didn’t specify if it does it with a wagon or bobtail…….. -
Friend of mine had a similar issue with his Cascadia, ended up being that his shocks and tires were at the end of their usefullness. Changed them both and the problem went away.
