50 in a 25 zone.
55 in a 30 zone.
65 in a 40 zone.
75 in a 50 zone.
Yup, I am good at the math - like everyone else with even half a brain.
Just like recognizing that a total disregard for any kind of safety does not bode well for a trucking career. -
Bud A., JoeyJunk, TX2Day and 1 other person Thank this.

Since you don't hold a cdl yet your chances of a dismissal with a fine, probation and possibly traffic school are very good. That citation can completely disappear with a non cdl license.
Stop school for now. Hire lawyer. Then resume cdl training once it's gone.
Good luck!Bud A., Numb, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -
You’ll definitely want to have your lawyer negotiate a plea deal..lower it to less than 15 for sure and fines..the state is just going to want $$ out of the deal no matter what..

Try to get it dropped to under 15 mph over the speed limit.
Anything 15 over is reckless driving by trucking company insurance companies.
