Got this BH empty two days early and amazingly I found a spot at the J here in Phoenix, 0930 and still mostly full except reserved spots. Prob won’t get reloaded until tomorrow though. Started my clock 0100 this morning so 14 will catch up quick.

Dead head to Colton to drop reefer then get a dry van in Redlands then load in Fontana to Lebanon, Tn. Of course no address for the new balance place in Fontana, hopefully google was correct. Weird how I almost never get a reefer back haul when I got a reefer after emptying it, you would think we would utilize them more than BH.

Careful what you wish for. That's how you end up going to the Americold place down the street.

True, some of those places can be a nightmare to go to.

They gave me a nice run delivering Hill-Phoenix to a Wegmans in Penfield, NY. Stopped for the night at the TA in Dansville, NY. Load was supposed to be delivered this morning at 8:00am, but my truck had other ideas. After about an hour of being parked, dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Said I had been derated and I should turn the truck off.

Breakdown was unhelpful as usual. I am *right there* at a truck stop with a repair bay, but they told me the only choice they have is to tow it to a dealership, which they wouldn't be able to do until this morning.

Currently in a hotel in Rochester, NY. Bright spot is that the dealership says they should have it ready tomorrow.

How did you like all those empty reefers sitting at the drop yard?

Yay, chasing empty dry vans down…..apparently Knight swiped the two that were supposed to be where I got sent. Now waiting to see if Knight will let us use one of their empty dry vans if they got any on their yard in Fontana. With the customers we still service out west they really need to find some dedicated back hauls so we have dry vans out here or find reefer back hauls to replace the lost Walmart account being we got a dozen reefers on the Colton yard.
