Thanks for the kudos, S2B...you are too kind...you also have been a wealth of information about WS.
I am still just a humble newb, but I already know I don't want to be anywhere else!
Give a recruiter a call, you won't regret it. -
Soon2betrucking,
Thank you for taking the time to help me out. I got in contact with a recruiter but I will not be able to drive for W/S just yet. Let's just say I'll be getting back to my recruiter in 12 weeks! I would really like to drive for W/S so I will keep at it. How about Stevens Trucking? Do you know much about them? I have looked into a lot of companies and W/S and Stevens seem to be the better two of all the bigger companies.
Thanks again!

if you wanna get passed by EVERYONE...and i mean EVERYONE, stevens is the company for you!!.. honestly, i dont no much about them, other then a few drivers i may run into at shippers and recievers.... they have slow trucks...thats all i really no about them..... i do believe they are theeee slowest, if not the slowst darn close to it...
who did you talk too? -
Soon2betrucking
I have spoken to Werner , Stevens , CR England , W/S and have calls into a few more. Between reading all the posts by other drivers and just word of mouth from school it's kind of a tuff decision to make. Yes I want to be home like everyone else but what I'm really looking for is a clean truck, good trainer and to really learn the ins and outs of the industry while training. I just need some experience right now and although I'm just starting out I still want to drive for a good company. My goal here is to drive for W/S... I have no accidents no tickets and feel very comfortable driving trucks, I just need that 8-12 weeks of experience.
