    Drivers like that are why companies do what they do and keep getting away with it… Some of these drivers are so called drivers need to grow a set & stand up to these companies that operate like this

    Yeah they aren't drivers of they don't make a stand against stupidity. Steering wheel holders or flip flop drivers. Anyway if he had took it to TA or Freightliner they might could tell the company that is out of service and he can't leave until it's fixed.

    I won't apparently hes an idiot. Don't need anymore steering wheel holders here. They are a rookie company I am guessing. They will learn when dot gets em.

    Frankly I wouldn’t care if any of these types of drivers got violation after violation of where they end up losing their CDL and leaving this business because frankly it’s time to fit the herd of the wannabes… If somebody doesn’t have a brain to even think with basics thinking skills they shouldn’t be driving out here.

    True that it's thin the herd time especially when there's so many companies going bankrupt. Companies should only take the best of the best drivers right now. There will be alot of wrecks this winter also helping with that.

    That won’t fly here.

    One thing I have always been impressed with at FCC is their truck/trailer maintenance program and simply fixing stuff right.

    First day here, Glen was showing me my truck etc and said if you see anything that needs addressed just let us know. I, half joking, pointed to a very small chip in the windshield but DANG, he had someone drop whatever they were doing to come fill it within like 15 minutes. Said “if we don’t fix it now, it will cost us more later” … was like “sweet” (but was still unsure if I was dreaming or company just putting their best foot forward to a new sucker, er, driver.

    About a year or so later, I had a small crack forming on the far right side of the windshield. I was totally expecting the typical “it’s still pretty small, and not interfering with your line of sight” standard reply, but NOPE… was fixed the next day. Wasn’t thrilled i had to shut down until the next day when they had the manpower to remove and install one on a KW (I guess it’s not as easy as other makes/models)

    So ya, FCC always get high marks from this Steering Wheel Holder in that area… as well as others.

    {steps down, 30 is up, rolling}

    stay safe

    Yeah fcc is one of the best companies I have worked for and is possibly the only company I will work at that is as family as my own. Only been here since May, 22 but I really enjoy it, and I have made the most money here. This is the 4th one I have worked at as well in 8 years. Glad I took a chance at coming here after lurking on the forums awhile reading through everyone's posts.

    So a little good news concerning the truck, only the actuator needs to be replaced on the turbo. Parts have been ordered and should be delivered tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed I can be generating revenue tomorrow afternoon

    That's great news man I knew it had to be the actuator that's great. Peterbilt told me the turbos last up to 1 million on those holset turbos and the actuators get covered in soot over time and they fail common issue.
