Had to replace another/different rod with this 1, wasnt quite sure if I put the top and bottom parts on the correct sides. Pics attached
Did I install this trailer leveling rod/linkage correctly?

It's attached correctly but it probably needs some adjustment. It looks like you have too much air in the bags the way they are now.

Judging ftom those lines in the plastic base, I'd say your about 2" too high. Other than that, looks good
Rideandrepair, mhlvc and kwswan Thank this. -
Yea Im trying to figure that out next. Its a 2008 Utility and the sticker where it shows what the ride height should be is torn off. Its a Hendrickson suspension, attached the model # picture. Im guessing its supposed to be at the specific measurement from bottom of frame to top if axel?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I need to lower it where the lines of the plastic base on the airbags is covered?
-
Judging from the wear, yes. You can see the lines in the rubber have worn the same lines into the plastic base. That is where it normally has ridden. Doesn't mean it was correct before, but it looks pretty close to where it should be.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Basically brand new air bags and leveling valve with this linkage rod, dont think the ride height was ever correct since i kept getting vibrationsRideandrepair and Big Road Skateboard Thank this.

Gotcha. You're not going to get a vibration from the trailer suspension height. You can definitely get a rough ride though.
Nonetheless, I'd still say those bags are roughly 2" too high. But there is a spec you could probably find on their website, or just call customer serviceRideandrepair and mhlvc Thank this. -
This is what I found on their site, and what my trailer model is, so Im guessing 16” from top of axle to bottom of trailer? Im confused

The procedure is on the Hendrickson site, but it won’t let me link to it.
Basically measure top of bag closest to leveling valve to the axle, then add half the diameter of the axle.
