TA Nashville. IT was always gated, fenced in and had razor wire on top of the fence like a prison. Sounds like a prison more than a truck stop dont it? Lmao
Havent been their in years but thats how it use to be.

Interesting. Melton is one company ive talked with about a job recently, and they also allow drivers to take their tractor trailer home with them. As hilarious as it would be to bring the whole shebang over to my home with me, reality is I'd only be able to take the truck part and have to leave the trailer somewhere.
Iirc walmart is a good place to leave the mt trailer, and I've seen "random" trailers left by truckers at other large parking lots. Safety is probably variable though I'd guess. -
Make sure you have permission, from WalMart, or whoever. To me, it would not be advantageous, to come off home time, and find said trailer missing, towed off by property owner.

And if you do drop your mt somewhere, use a king pin lock.

I now have a home on 5 acres that I can park multiple semis on if I needed to. After parking at different trucks stops in town, and/or dropping my trailer in random locations for a few years, this is a big consideration if I ever move. There is no constant worry about my tuck getting backed into, or my trailer getting towed.
I understand this is not an option for everyone, in that case I would recommend working for someone that has a yard close to your house.
All other options are a very distant third in my opinion.
