Dropped my Reno and pulled the newest empty out of course and a load lock in it. The universal load lock distribution system has been hitting me a lot lately, lol! Got six load locks on the back of my cab now, can’t fit anymore unless I strap them down on the catwalk. At least with straps I can put em in my side box where I keep my tools.

Oh how I have missed this button:
The 2019 KWs were the last KWs we bought that had a switch for dumping the airbags. The 2020 KWs (which is what I've been driving for the past four years) had no such switch. I remember when I first got into my 2020, I thought "Surely this is a mistake" and turned in a shop ticket to have them fix it. Only to find out that, nope, they bought 'em like that on purpose.motocross25, JoeyJunk, jarhead0311 and 3 others Thank this. -

Did some local work today. Picked up a loaded trailer 30 minutes away. Hauled trailer to a Sam's Club store in Waldorf, MD. Played yard jockey for an hour. Drop loaded trailer in dock, remove empty trailer from dock, drop empty trailer on lot, hook other loaded trailer on lot, drop other loaded trailer in dock, hook return load (trailer full of pallets) in dock, leave receiver. Lot was tight and very busy, and everything was a blindside back to boot, else I might've gotten it done much sooner.
Took pallets back to original shipper, grabbed new load, which I dropped on the yard.
Trailers from this shipper (Sam's DC down in Prince George, behind the Pilot on 460) were very front loaded. Three of us Abilene drivers scaled out at that Pilot, and we were all overweight on the drives. I saw the weight was 44,600, so I slid the tandems to an appropriate spot on the trailer. Scaled out and I was 2500 over on the drives. Had to slide tandems all the way forward to get legal, which is pretty unusual for a 44k load in my experience.
New truck has the 5th wheel slid back a bit further than Abilene standard. Trying to decide how much I care.
New truck also has a CB in it, which was left by the previous driver. First CB I've had as a trucker. Doesn't have a mic, though, so I can only listen. Which I did for about 20 seconds then turned it off.jarhead0311, motocross25, 48Packard and 3 others Thank this. -
If anyone needs some cheap throw away tools, Loves is selling out their Road Pro Tools on the cheap. They are being replaced with their in house brand called Amarillo. I grabbed several that I needed and many I didn’t need and now don’t care if they break in use or not.

Picked up an Ikea load in Danville, delivers Wednesday in Joliet, IL. After that, they gotta find something to get me home for hometime this weekend.
Currently parked at the TA in Hurricane. Overturned flatbed on I-64 in Charleston added over an hour to my trip. They were letting people through, so nobody died. But they had three lanes closed, so it was a slow process. They were cleaning up all the loose particleboard from the dude's load off the freeway by the time I passed.Lonesome, jarhead0311, 48Packard and 1 other person Thank this.
