I have a MBN that smokes like a mechanical engine. I'm not sure what all has been done to the motor. I swapped the ecm with another off of a MBN that my buddy has. He had Antrim set it up to a true 550 and it still smokes the same. I recently broke 3 out of the 4 bolts that hold down the Jake and rocker assembly above cylinders 3&4 along with breaking the Jake in half. It still had all 12pt bolts in it so I upgraded them to the heavier 6pts. So I have 9 6pts and 3 12 pts like they call for. With that said I'm doubtful someone has changed anything to 6nz parts but I could be wrong. This is my first bridge motor and trying to figure it out. What should be my next step. TIA

First things first with excessive smoke, cover the basics, check air filters and for boost leaks, and have someone hook up to it and verify boost sensor reads correctly. After that since you don't really know what's been done to the engine, I would pull a valve cover to see exactly what part number injector is in it.

Check if the Boost sensor has a Resistor in the Green Wire somewhere
