You can simply repin one of the connectors. I wish I could remember which ones (it’s been 10 years ago) but it took 30 seconds. Now, mine shuts down when I turn my key on instead of the other way around.
The other night (Wednesday) I was in Breckenridge, Colorado (9600’) and my bunk heater wouldn’t “cheech” so I dressed in sweatpants, socks and wore a beanie……slept like a rock. It’s hard to get out of bed in a cold cab though!

I used my Little Buddy Heater quite a bit last year. Worked great, but maybe too good. This year I've only used my sleeping bag. I've got a Western Mountaineering 30* bag, and a 0* bag.

10* or below, I'm bumping my idle to 900 and lettin it run.

You can get a better deal on one 400# than two 200#'s.

The 400 pounder would only warm one side of your body. A lot of body heat would go to waste.

I used a 20 degree sleeping bag when I was with Mr. Trainer. He was too cheap to idle the truck and the sleeping bag saved my life. l o l

When you say bunk heater are talking about a Webasto or Espar type bunk heater or the factor HVAC system in the sleeper? When you say bunk heater, everyone is thinking about the diesel fired ones that work great with the truck off
