We’ll it’s been a great run under my own authority but I have to face the truth and lease on or sell it all.
Between breakdowns a terrible market and waiting on money from my locals I’m tapped out.
And before anyone says it I started with a 30k reserve.
So my question is any advice on leasing onto a company? (I’m completely new to leasing on)
Also any advice on companies specializing in heavy haul.
I’ve spoke with Bennett, Yarborough and LS so far.
Yarborough is forced dispatch but they get ya home every weekend we’ll they say 95%.
I run the southeast
Would like to be home on weekends
And run a 55ton lowboy.
Thanks in advance for all input.
Leasing on advice and best company?

It’s a combination of both. Since they cover the liability and cargo ins that saves me around 1800 a month..which isn’t much if I could stay consistent on work.
Since rates have dropped there are a lot of guy’s pulling DD and lowboys now with regular tandem tractors. Which has killed the rates for anything under 75k and under. Now I can’t find enough consistent heavy work in my area to keep rolling.
I find myself sitting more than I like,
I refuse to run my equipment in the ground just to break even.
I’d say my biggest reason to lease on would be to have consistent heavy work in my area.Siinman and Rubber duck kw Thank this. -
Not sure if they would have anything that works for you, but you could check into Whitewood Transport out of Billings MT.
Siinman, Oxbow and Phoenix Heavy Haul Thank this. -

Could I add additional trucks or to them?
Any advice on them good bad?Siinman and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
The onboarding process is equivalent to running your private parts over a cheese grater.
Once you've done with that, it is pretty nice.
Experienced big RGN......them guys pull some coin.Opus, Siinman and Phoenix Heavy Haul Thank this. -
R E West, in Tennessee...has a "specialized" division....that could just be right up your alley.
As I write this -- I know they are looking for drivers like you.
You might check them out, & see what you find:
Services — R. E. West Transportation
I could be wrong -- but I think they will do better than private parts with a cheese grater....

Well I decided to go with Bennett and finally made it through processing which sucked!!
I have orientation on Tuesday and Wednesday, so fingers crossed it’ll be worth the move.
