Hey... we'll actually be in the same state for a change. As long as we don't end up at the Salt Lake Detention Facility at the same time! I'd hate to have to compete with ya for who get's their red tagged trailer fixed first.

Got into the SLC Detention Facility to get my laundry list fixed on my trk # 0200 yesterday. I of course get red tagged like always. Went to sleep before turning my trk into the shop. Today at 0830 O/O sent me a QC.... wtf how did he know i was actually here and didnt turn in my truck last night. I already talked to them a few weeks ago and they gave me the meal ticket then. Today I go up and get another meal ticket... MAYBE i should just keep stringing them along getting free meals...lol

 

Avoid the Dark side at all costs. That could be a very expensive meal.

 

Yeah I know. But I think they keep forgetting they gave me an orange meal ticket already. Might as well milk it all I can.

On another note. While I was doing my defensive driving course today for scratching someone's plastic mirror cover ($100 Damage different story) , i was talking to a lease op who is generally making money. He said a few weeks he didnt make that much was because he forgot or couldnt turn in his trip pak before cutoff time so he would be out that money for almost 2 weeks. He even went as far as showing me his pay sheets and I can confirm that he was making money. (not defending the lease program, just telling what i saw with my own eyes).

One of my classmates just signed a lease a few days ago. Ill let you know how he does in a couple months. You just need to remind me to ask him... And no my classmate is not me! Really!! Its not! I just like hearing from both sides even if I hear more people are not making it than that are. I myself have no plans to lease in the near future. I just dont think i know sh** about sh** right now and definitely not ready (too much responsibility)

Awesome... I am now the godfather.. Gee.. I hope I can hold the title well.. I mean.. I've only been with cental for a week or two.. Can't seem to figure out how to slide my first trailer tire apart from the other one.. Like those no box trailers with wood on em, do.....

Lol.. I made it to my 01 right in the nick of time.. Right by a pilot too.. So hopefully I can rock and roll.. N use my 7 hours today.. It'll be a first in awhile...

 

Hey all, i start school with central on the 29th of march, so if any of you guys are in slc maybe i will run into you.

 

the only waffle house is a IHOP on 5600 west. about 3100 south. pretty close to central HQ.

 

Hmmmm, I may get snowed in here at the house and not be able to hit the road on Sunday. Should I be happy or sad?
