Canadian good and bad trucking companies

Maybe so but it’s definitely not right.

 

My company dropped my rate down from 0.66 cpm to 0.56 and when i took them to the federal labour board, i was able to recoup the difference.

 

Xan fits right into this category with their corruption as one of the worse trucking companies. False advertising when comparing their ads to actually what occurs plus they manipulate their comments only showing good ones fabricated from their own people. I'm actually surprised no one ever spoke about these people as they have a super higher than normal insurance fee, no fuel discounts and so much more. No profit can be made for any Owner Operator there.

Sure they can operate a company but unfortunately a lot of them(from that country) are scamming drivers on a regular basis, I worked for 3 of those companies in the past and all of them wanted you to break the rules and they will also steal your miles and hourly pay.

 

Yea, The Indian and Punjabi ppl's I know, won't work for Indians or Punjabis, they just wont. Sad, but scamming drivers is just standard operating procedure for them.

 

we’re having real problems in the caledon,bolton and Vaughan area now where the new Canadians are buying up farms , land and i even see it with just houses with a couple of acres and opening up illegal truck parking lots or container yards . I know the town of caledon has fought and won some cases on illegal use of land . Vaughan has said the fines are so low it’s worth the risk for these owners to open up illegal truck parking and container yards

 

It will never end. They have the numbers especially in Trucking in Ontario. I've seen Charger for years now and never seen anyone other than East Indian and Punjabis working there. The sad part is with similar companies like this Only want to hire their own people. They segregate through 'the names that apply'. You don't believe me?... Test and try it out for yourself by applying. Some companies in the GTA found this niche in the system and use it to their advantage in order to control their money and con, trick, swindler and manipulate drivers & o/o in order of keeping residual sources of income. Its strange to because they also cater to their country of origin but never Canada's which majes absolutely no sense.

 

Don’t get me started on how they basically come here to gain wealth and bring their other bs here instead of actually wanting to intergrade into our society and wanting to be a true Canadian . In my opinion they see us as a cash cow . Another thing that pisses me off is having to deal with them speeding, weaving in and out of traffic it seems every where i go every day in their bmw’s,mercedes,v6 mustangs or challengers .Rules or laws aren’t for them apparently . As far as not being able to work for one of their sh$tty scamming companies i’m fine with that . what would really bug me or does is when decent companies will not even look at me because i’m not a minority because i’m white .Feels like instead of moving forward from what happen to the blacks and the whole slavery thing we’re going back to being more Racism just in another ways . As we’re all seeing in certain professions like police or other government jobs like the mto now . We have a young east indian female mto officer harassing truck drivers around our yard every week in her under cover suv
