I just got a bug in my ear about these two carriers. Anybody know anything? I know that they both look good on the safety side. What else?
Cypress or Patco, both out of Florida...what's up with them?

Mostly in state work, and southeast regional.
Patco hauls road building materials, sand, dirt, etc.
Cypress is flatbeds, they have some OLDER equipement.JustSonny Thanks this. -
Actually, I'm waiting for Shook to pick me up. We're checking out an evangelical synogogue complete with snake handlers!jtrnr1951 Thanks this. -
I personally would stay away from Patco, I'm not sure how they have a good safety rating, some of the worst equipment on the road, and those drivers put in some insane hours, latey they've been putting drivers up in Louisianna for out of state work, they're primarily based out of Brooksville, Fl but have other terminals around the Tampa/Ocala area. Cypress is basically as earier stated, mostly flatbeds, they acquired Sunbelt Transport last year which is better equipment than what cypress currently has, cypresss also operates a local dump fleet that supposedly has acquired some work out of palatka going over to crystal river. Hopefully this helps a bit. BTW, Patco also operates under the name, Montgomery, Margie Wood, Belleview Transport, Tampa truck lines, Diamond C Transport, and I believe that's it, I'm not sure why these companies are basically one in the same.

Patco driver totally could care less about others! We are parked in the Arkansa Welcome center I-30 east bound. We are in a motorhome in the motorhome/bus parking. A Patco truck, with a huge load, chose to park extremely close to us on our right side. He had 25-30 spots to pick from in the truck parking. He had 5-6 spots in the RV/Bus parking tovoir right. But, he chose to park extremely close to our motorhome for no good reason. I called Patco to complain about the lack of care from their driver and they hung up on me. Definitely a poor company! Oversized semis should park in the semi's lot, not the lot!
