I met a guy with Roehl and he said he and two other guys work full time doing only one thing: bringing back abandoned trucks. That ought to speak volumes on how drivers are treated.

Yeah that's Roehl for you. Hubby had to get a lawyer because his WC case was denied. Right after we got a lawyer I got fired. When hubby was scheduled for surgery and I gave plenty of notice to be home for it, I was stuck up in Wisconsin on that "new" Ort account. Of course the way the loading and unloading was scheduled there was no way it could be done legally. Needless to say, I didn't get home until the day of surgery and after he got out of surgery.

As you can see there is an abundant supply of students coming to Roehl's school. This is my opinion but I feel it's one way for Roehl to generate money. They get the student through school and then find some reason to can them after Evo 2. That way the student is on the hook for the tuition.

Whatever. I've made plenty of money at Roehl over the years. I am at the top of the pay scale and they haven't got rid of me yet. I have had a pretty big work comp too. Never saw a bill, only checks. Most people that have been around these companies for a few years have figured out that Roehl is just a smaller version of Schnieder. Plenty of people in the office have worked for both companies. Look at Ray G. Worked at SNI, then Roehl, back to SNI, now back at Roehl. They ticked me off with the routing BS but it wouldn't surprise me if Schnieder implements something similar. Roehl isn't growing but Schnieder lost about 2000 trucks the last couple of years.

    Cheryl Thanks this.

You are also a trainer which generates a little more pay. Glad to hear you faired ok with your WC. I never said Roehl is the cause of the denial. I have said that Roehl plays dirty. I also am not stupid to think Schneider is perfect. I know that I will not make the same mistake I did at Roehl. I just want to put Roehl behind me and do the best job I can and.

I never had to worry about that at Roehl. My deductible was so high that nothing I did was covered.

Doesn't that suck? You pay high premiums each week and still have to meet a high deductible before insurance kicks in 80%.

When I was in New Orleans Roehl had an ad in a local shopper paper. They were looking for 140 drivers.

Well I get here at Edwardsville and am settled into the Days Inn. Tomorrow starts orientation off with the pre-screening agility test. I've been working out at the gym and watching my BP and heart rate. They have been good. I'm confident that I will pass.

Hey Grc56, hows the WCH dedicated account? I have talked to the recruiter about it, I have been thinking about going to sni for awhile now, I live in Beavercreek so it is close to me, could you give me some info on what to expect. I drove for Gordon for nine months and we have dropped at Walmart DCs, so I know a little about Walmart. thanks...
