True and ive been tempted. I carry a box of loose sap incase of a hydraulic leak.......buuuuut thats outside my comfort zone. A sticker absolutely. A padlock? If they REALLY piss me off, then sure. Especially since it does no actual damage unless they destroy their own door.

But the cotton ball thing has a non zero chance of damageing the engine. I wont stop anyone who wants to do that. But as i said intentionally damageing a truck is a bit past my line lol. But as for my locking fuel caps that was more pokeing fun at it lol.

One cannot do a proper pre-trip at night without a flashlight but if they were as tiny as you claim then I guess they could have been missed. Still don't understand how he could not have seen a tire so low on air that it thumped when turning. That can be found by sight or a simple kick with a foot.

Your picture isn't the same as being there. Also it only shows one angle and from a distance but I think I see something blue under the tire.

I do understand, quite, when it's after midnight and truck stop is full. But empty parking plaza during the day, you can park without backing and people still blocking fuel islands and parked on the entrance curves . All cultures and races. Beard full of flea dirty baseball cap Americans, Sikhs, newly arrived and not so Africans, Eurotrash. Company drivers and OO. It's just crap individuals.

Methinks your thinking the wrong type of thumping.

I should clarify as I used him hearing a thumping when he actually said, "thud". A thud sound means a really flat tire. Like OOS pressure type flat. The kind you can easy spot with a kick on a drive or trailer axle and one you can easily see with the naked eye on a steer or single wheeled single axle.

Hence why i wont stop ya. Assumeing these folks work 44 weeks out of a year. And that they block a fuel island half the time for lets call it 45 mins on average. That means they cost people on average around 116ish hours of work a year. Or roughly 2 weeks worth of wasted time for everyone else.

That said as an O/O the thought of someone damageing my rig intentionally makes me angry enough much less when someone stole several grand worth of stuff off it couple weeks back. So destroying someone elses stuff is outside MY personal comfort zone.

I don't like it too Fox. Just venting steam. But industry standards are sinking so low. Parking on fuel island, parking on shoulder, parking on ramp, parking on scale and on and on with options available to avoid.
