No I havent gotten the hammer, I'm still around... Just not as active. I check in every so often to see what the buzz is these days. Just been enjoying having a life other than working.

Truck still looks solid. Can't make out the driver in the pic, withholding judgement there...

    Trivia...
Ance Lee Milican started hauling drilling mud out to the well heads drilling for gas in Prairie, MS.
Ance had what is now the truck stop going into West Point southbound on US45. Drilling just started, and some rep was in there moaning about getting mud out, nobody wanted to deal. Ance asked him why. Man said needed to be ready (setting on dark green) when he called for a bob truck load out there.
Day, night,Sunday, holiday's. Ance asked him what he might pay for this service. Man said skys the limit if man will do it.
So, A.L. Milican quoted him, got the business, sold the truck stop, fenced some property 5 miles north, threw up a Mitchell steel building (they rented it from him for warehouse) used an old F600 flatbed and
    did the deal.
This morphed into a few Ford diesel duallys, gooseneck trailers, hauling assembled boiler pipe insides for Babcock and Wilcox to Ohio from the West Point plant. A.L. was using women drivers on most of them. The real men drivers did not consider that truckin....

Anyway that is how Royal Trucking Co, in West Point, MS started. Run by his son, Billy Milican who grew up around the yard.
On US45A SB; just past the Clay County Line sign, about a mile , on your right. An old chain link fenced yard with some old trailers etc in it was the original place. Google Royal Trucking Co. for todays size.
