UH NO!!! They are not pretending to be a mad driver...Just the opposite...But I think that the average person can read through this 26 page forum and realize that Carolina Cargo is a very bad place. It has overwhelming statements from current and former drivers contesting to just that.

3 weeks if they put you with someone that doesnt wreck the truck while you are sleeping and you get hurt while the company does not have workers compensation insurance. (against state law) and dont take my word for it verify it here http://www.wcc.sc.gov/Insurance/Verify+Coverage/
And dont be confused if you do verify coverage and Carolina Cargo of Chester comes up. This is an entirely different company. The one that they started because they owe so much money under the old name. They will be making and announcement about that soon. Hopefuly if your not one of the 20 drivers that will get a job at the new company you will get you check in the hole from Carolina Cargo of Rock hill (the old company) but i wouldnt hold my breathe.Last edited: Mar 22, 2010

Well it looks as if you guys have'nt learned much. CHAD,, JIM,,and CURTIS, Thats just another way around the repo man, Go ahead and jump ship thinking you're running away from a sinking ship. a smelley one at that.
Yes if you've made some bad choice's in the past this may look like your only hope. But I assure you,;this will be yet another bad choice;
You guys,,girls that went to ;HIS; school with the promise of a job when you completed have a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT if you'd just get together.They took State funds and promised to get you jobs when finished, knowing that would'nt happen.
You need help contact me, We'll own the Company, I can and will run it, and you guys can work and have a home life.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
Wow! I see CC is still the same as it was 12 years ago.

Hey freightbaby I am a driver that worked there for over a year and I am here to tell you that Jim does do dispatch and he does have favorite drivers and all that.I am not saying that's a bad thing they did me right, but let me ask you this question since you and me both drove like it was our trucks, I am from Cali and drive out of SC and when I come to Cali with the wait that you mentioned I would come by the house to see my family and my newborn daughter, and they would make sure that I had a load from here before i was even empty, don't get me wrong that's a good thing and something we all want out of a company but when you need that 34 hour beak it would cost me 80.00 to get a room at the relax inn in Richburg, And the people from SC or 'NC would ho home and get to see there families for a week at a time but when I just wanted to stop in for an hour or two out here they would tell me it's out of route and i couldn't do it you tell me how fair this is

CAROLINA CARGO has just filed for Bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of US Bankruptcy code. Case number 10-02054-hb. Hopefully the court will look through their petition and bust them for bankruptcy fraud!!! Oh sorry I should of said filed AGAIN!!! I would imagine that his creditors will probably fight this one pretty hard since they got screwed on the last one.

I am truly in thanks for Carolina Cargo giving me a job. And I hold up most respect for everyone that is employed with them. And that has been employed with them. From fellow drivers, dis-patch, safety, shop, payroll, management, and ownership not a word of disgrace is thought of.
Nothing is of bother too me about the Company except, of hearing complaints from fellow drivers.
Just like me, many of you Carolina Cargo drivers were and or given a chance too excel. You or/were given a chance of a life time. That is to do a good job, perform in a safely manner and become a ambassador of your profession. Not to whine, complain, or harass the company or it's employees.
All was hired for many reasons, some or personal and some or with a need. Mine was of a need, and I still desire that need. Everytime I sit behind the wheel of a Carolina Cargo truck, I still give thanks and praise too being a driver by them. Often I have expressed my thanks, and as long as I am able to drive for them, I will continue doing so.
I am not one to hide behind a nic of a different name, nor am I one to hide my feelings, or too show them. Nor will I argue, comment, bash/slander my former/fellow drivers or company employees. It's not what God wanted or intended me too do by giving me my need.
I Do a Job, and daily I give thanks. Thanks should be given by All, especially when you were in need, for what ever the good reason is/was.
