I'm glad you found a company you feel good about, and I'm really glad your cat came back. I can tell you from experience, life on the road is 10 times better with a cat than without.

Cats always come back! Lol. They just like exploring for awhile. If they don’t come back it’s because something happened to them.
I know it’s late but LGT and GENOX are Cryo companies that hire O/O, lease purchase, and also company drivers.MockOverdrive Thanks this. -
I drove for Action awhile back. Semi retired now, Can you tell me the company that they used for their 401k?
MockOverdrive and 77fib77 Thank this. -
Any update on how it’s going for u with p & s?
MockOverdrive Thanks this. -
Ran for P&S for about 6 months. Learned so much! Even got coil training under my belt. It's overall a great company to work for, they keep you busy and always have freight to move. My only hang-up is the pay. I would run like a machine everyday and on the weekends but would struggle to break over $1200 per week on average, unless I ran to Cali in which I could hit $2,000. It may just be that rates are low on a national scale, but either way I need to switch back to O/O to avoid bankruptcy and pay off big credit cards.
P&S did have a subsidiary, Blair, I tried to onboard but couldn't seem to get the P&S mechanics to inspect my truck. Blair doesn't have loadboard and all freight is dispatched. I researched Mercer and Landstar and am currently getting truck ready for Mercer level 1 inspection and will head to Louisville on Jan. 8. Mercer let's you opt to get dispatched or let's you run their loadboard, whereas Landstar seemed more loadboard based. I figured Mercer would be a good in-between for me as I've never run loadboards. I hope to inevitably learn oversize and heavy haul.
I figure the end game for me is to see which direction this country goes in 2024. If the oil industry hits a boom, ill head straight to Midland, TX and run hazmat tanker. If the country does green, ill look into oversize flatbed hauling windmill components.77fib77 Thanks this. -
Cats are so amazing on the road. They love walking on harnesses out in the rest area deserts of New Mexico and Arizona. They don't really like snow in Colorado and Utah ❄️ but will still flop around and play in it. Walking them has really kept me in shape! Before Cats, I was 400lbs now I'm down to 263lbs. But it's also switching diet to Keto.
I'll research LGT and GENOX. i've definitely been interested in Cryo because I love science!
only ran O/O for Action so I never did 401k with them, it might be TransAmerica ACTION RESOURCES INC 401k loginRockinChair and REO6205 Thank this. -
Thanks for the update. Good luck to you and let us know how things turn out.
