Mx-13 epa 10 exhaust manifold

    Resealed the exhaust manifold 10 months ago for leak at head. 3 months ago I replaced the exhaust manifold with an updated oem manifold. New bolts all around, followed torque specs etc. A few weeks ago, new turbo due to stuck vgt. Now manifold is leaking at the head again. Anything i should be doing differently this time?
    Anyone had this issue? We had similar issues with newer unit and manifold took care of it.

    Its an off chance but check your EGR to see if its clogged or if the valve has broken off the spindle or is jamming partly shut when it should be open. Could be causeing higher then normal pressures in the manifold. I know mine had lot of manifold and turbo issues until i fixed it.

    That's worth a shot. Coming off anyway. This thing is very sooty and blows alot of black smoke. Might be the reason.
