Stay far away from AW Transportation-they charge you $1000 escrow

So in other words…. You never get your money back regardless!! If you end up having to owe them money…. DON’T PAY IT!! Most of these small companies always ripping off their drivers anyhow. They shave miles off, don’t pay detention pay, skip out on paying safety bonuses, get you to do local deliveries and pay you only mile pay, etc etc!! They pull their scams, pull yours!!

Shaving miles off your pay, not paying detention pay or layover pay, skipping out on safety bonues, getting you to do local work but not paying you hourly like they do their local drivers.. only paying you miles! I was actually pissed. I wore a belt with metal loops that hung off of the sides as I would put my keys there. So there were a couple of holes in the driver seat that I had to answer for. What pushed me over the edge was that they claimed that I'd left an odor in the truck when I had every air freshener you could think of on my rig.

 

I don’t blame you….. i would be piss too! That doesn’t cost no $1k or $2k escrow to fix…… like i said…. Excuses to take your money! I got myself stuck into a situation where i needed a tow truck to pull me out. Thank god there were no damages done but the cost was $700 for the tow truck driver to come out. Now my company is asking me to pay that back to them. They want me to sign a wage garnishment form which i have not yet done! Lots of detention time i have done which i haven’t got paid for yet, they shave miles off, haven’t seen a safety bonus since last year july….. i’ll say they owe me money! So until i get my money owed to me, i ain’t signing nothing! They gonna keep my escrow money anyways so….. why sign!!

 

$1000 escrow has become pretty common in the industry. Do what your supposed to do, and you will get the money back when you quit.
