    Nah if you want a Pain in the A take Route 50 across CO in a truck with NO JAKE BRAKES. Thank god that sweet corn was Top iced and dripping wet it kept the Brakes cool.

    Actually your worst downgrade on this will be southbound on I-17 between Flagstaff and Phoenix.

    Back in the dark ages, before there was such a thing as I-70 or Eisenhour tunnel, I was w/b on US 6 going up Loveland. I was driving a VW bug. It was snow and ice. I met a big truck coming down, sideways. I still don't know how we avoided each other. He lost it completely, but never touched my car. If he had, I wouldn't be sitting here posting on this forum!

    Yeah, but that truly is "GOD'S COUNTRY" over there. At least from Montrose to Pueblo. Pueblo on east into Kansas sucks big time because of the boring drive and all the little towns...
