The problem is the VVA. Number 4 was low causing the valve to stick. They replaced the VVA. The problem then moved to number 6. Same issue, sticking valve. Thought they had a defective VVA so ordered a second and installed it. Problem disappeared. Told to take truck and use it for awhile to see how long it lasts. I drove 10 miles, problem reappeared. This seems to be intermittent. The sticking valves and the pulsing idle are connected in that neither occurs without the other. What about the wire harness within the head? Could that be faulty? What about the ECM? Can that be faulty?
