What large, medium-large carriers still do a lot of 48 state dispatch?

    I don't want to drive regional/dedicated when I first start driving....maybe never. If I sign on with a large or medium-large carrier, I'd rather sign on with one that will continue to have 48 state (or, at least close to 48 state) dispatch. Which carriers do I need to zero-in on? Thanks!

    Wiley Sanders still covering 48 plus Canada. Still hiring new drivers. I have driven Pensacola, Chicago, Dallas, Portland this week.

    Land Span, Southern Cal, Interstate, Dot lines are a few that specialize in cross country running. I think they focus on hiring teams though. Solo cross country running is fading out slow but sure thanks to the trains.

    I saw a Wiley-Sanders tank on I-10 in MS or LA yesterday, at least I think I did. Caught it out of the corner of my eye. Is this new for Wiley-Sanders or have I just never seen one before?

    May Trucking is 48 state, irregular route reefer (they also have a western 11 dry van side which probably wouldnt interest you.) The closest terminal to you would be in Pensacola FL. If you dont care about home time, they have one of the highest rates of pay for an entry level company.

    Thanks for the tip! I had looked at May but somehow they dropped out of my focus.....no reason that I can remember. Thanks for bringing May back to my attention.

    Yes, thats the one. I believe they have a nationwide presence with over 3000 employees.

    I do not know how good they are to work for though.
