I drove an International straight truck for a few years. May not be quite as big as a Peterbuilt, but it's certianly bigger than a 4 wheeler. I have ridden in an 18 wheeler alot, so I do have a little taste of whats going on. I have been the recipient of jerk 4 wheelers.

While I understand your frustration, I still maintain that the 18 wheelers need to share the road and show respect to the 4 wheelers just as the 4 wheelers need to do the same with the big trucks.

In this thread, I have seen quite abit of drivers bashing the 4 wheelers, but the drivers need to realize they arent perfect either. They dont own the road!

I agree, its a two way street. But there are still circumstances that do not always allow the big rig to do exactly what should be done. I've seen it, and these guys have to be defensive drivers every second of every day.

I'm not arguing that fact and I agree with you. There are circumstances (on both sides)...

So sorry. Was unaware that you owned the road.

    Will keep in mind.

On the flip side, I have seen so-called proffessional drivers that forget to cancel their turn signals.

I have followed behind a truck for miles on their left side, slowing down the traffic behind me to give them the chance to get over. Some of them never do.

I assume they merely forgot to cancel their signal. I know I have been guilty of that from time to time.
