Cell Phone Vs CBs

    Let me get this straight its ok to talk on the CB while your driving but you cant use a hands free device??? With the CB you have one hand on the wheel and in the hand your talking sh** with the mic ..........But with a hands free device both hands on the wheel............. Someone please tell me this some bull sh** :biggrin_2556:

    Why?? when you use a cellphone you barely pay attention as well as using a cb....Now with hands free you got a little more control but with a cb its like talking on a cellphone with one hand ............

    It's real simple...


    Most cars don't have a cb.

    Every idiot and their sister has a cell phone.

    Ergo more distracted driver incidents happen due to cell phone use, than cb use.

    Thus the recent spate of laws geared at banning cell phone use while driving.

    At the end of the day, distracted driving is distracted driving.

    Be it talking on a cell phone, eating, drinking, screwing around with the radio, lighting a cigarette etc...
